معرفی کتاب Design of Jet Grouted Excavation Bottom Plugs
In the case of permeable and uncemented soils, underwater excavations can be conveniently performed by sealing their bottom with massive horizontal barriers made of partially overlapping jet grouted columns (e.g., Sondermann and Toth 2001; Van Tol 2004; Eramo et al. 2012; Flora et al. 2011; Ochmański et al. 2015b). The main advantage of jet grouting technology for this application consists in the possibility of giving variable thicknesses and shapes to such structures, by adapting the geometry of the columns, in order to resist against uplift. Regardless of the solution adopted, which may reproduce one of the schemes the design of the structures, simply called plugs herein, must be carried out considering: 1. Uplift equilibrium of the plug or of the whole structure; 2. Structural performance of the jet grouted part of the plug; and 3. Water inflow through possible imperfections of the jet grouted mass.
